Chord Maker (chordmaker.app) is a free, browser-based tool. It runs entirely on your device — there are no accounts to create and nothing you generate is uploaded to us. This policy explains the little data that is involved.

What we collect

We do not ask for or store any personal information. Chord progressions, keys, voicings and MIDI files are created and exported locally in your browser and never leave your device.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from — so we can improve the tool. This is the only third-party service that receives any data, and it never receives content you create. See our Cookie Policy for the specific cookies involved.

We don't sell your data

We do not sell, rent or share any data about you. The only processor involved is Google, acting as our analytics provider.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser extension that opts out of Google Analytics, at any time. Doing so does not affect the tool's functionality.
